Moisture profile of drying concrete
This test involves the moisture profile testing of drying concrete, by where the relative humidity measurements are taken at various depths below a single exposed surface.
Experimental Details
Moisture profile and durability index tests were carried out to obtain the required data to find the relation between the effects of relative humidity, corrosion and durability.

Oxygen permeability index test
OPI tests were carried out using a number of different samples with varying parameters. Comparisons were made between samples with and without the 5 mm surface layer

Water sorptivity index test
On completion of the OPI tests, the same samples were used to carry out water sorptivity index tests. These tests were carried out to measure the sorption transport properties of the concrete, as well as to analyse the porisity of the 5 mm surface layer
